Doug Lenat of Cycorp is developing Cyc software. According to the company “ it contains a knowledge base and inference engine. The knowledge base is made up of over 1,000,000 hand-entered assertions or "rules" that will create a consensus knowledge about the world.” The following articles give more information about Cyc:

Neural Representation Modeller (NRM) is a software product based on MAGNUS being developed by Igor Aleksander and Novel Technical Solutions. According to the company “it is being used to study cognitive (thought-based) behaviours in the brain by getting an insight into the way in which the brain represents reality through a process of reconstructing it within its neural system. NRM makes the reconstructions explicit and visible on the computer screen.” The following articles give more information about MAGNUS:www.cix.co.uk/~hewitt/misc5.htm
